Abbie Langston, Senior Associate, leads the development of the National Equity Atlas as part of the research partnership between PolicyLink and the USC Equity Research Institute. With the Atlas team, she conducts signature research to make the case for racial economic equity, partners with leaders and community organizations across the country to create tailored analyses that advance local campaigns and offers training and technical assistance to democratize access to equity data. She serves on the Industry & Inclusion Advisory Board for The Century Foundation and the Urban Manufacturing Alliance and is especially interested in large-scale systems change to create an equitable future of work. Abbie joined PolicyLink as a 2015-2017 Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow. She holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate Program in Literature at Duke University, where she specialized in American studies and critical race and ethnic studies.
